Kokeshi, wooden dolls with simplified bodies, are traditional craftworks in Japan. Her kimono features wild flowers growing next to a spring, on a background of green. The red collar really makes the colors stand out. The bun at the top is also accented with the same color. Created by Masaei Fujikawa, who has received the Prime Minister's award.
